Taking Control of Your End-of-Life Care

TRIAD LOGO2The Winchester/Frederick County S.A.L.T. (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together) Council wants local residents to be prepared with the legal documents they need to speak for them, when they are not able to speak for themselves.  Unexpected end-of-life situations can happen at any age and it’s important for adults to have the necessary documents to ensure their wishes are met.  The local S.A.L.T. Council will hold a three part series to educate area seniors and their caregivers on the following topics:

  • Advanced Medical Directives, August 5, 2014
  • Powers of Attorney, September 2, 2014
  • Living Wills, September 30, 2014

Each part of the series will take place on the above mentioned dates at Shenandoah Valley Westminster-Canterbury from 9 – 11 a.m.  Registration is required and there is limited seating.

To register please contact Jennifer Benavente at (540) 327-4284 or jennifer@whiteproperties.net.  The deadline to register is July 28, 2014.
