The Winchester Police Department arrested two juveniles Monday for breaking into Virginia Avenue Charlotte Dehart Elementary School. The 16 and 17-year-old males, both of Winchester, are charged with burglary and grand larceny. They were taken to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
Around 4 a.m. Sunday the juveniles broke into the schools and stole electronic devices. School teachers reported that items in their classroom were gone through and other items were missing.
Surveillance pictures sent in a press release Monday afternoon helped detectives identify the suspects.
