The Winchester Police Department's Motorcycle Unit is used in conjunction with the regular patrol units and for special events. It is extremely effective in maneuvering through traffic and pedestrian congestion. The Police Department currently has six trained officers assigned to this unit are often seen at special events such as Apple Blossom, National Night Out, Fourth of July, and more.
