Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Class

About the Program 

The WPD Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) class demonstrates realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women who are 12 years old and up. The R.A.D. program is designed to teach women defensive concepts and techniques against various types of assault, providing a woman with the knowledge to make an educated decision about resistance.

Certified R.A.D. instructors, which include Winchester City Police Officers, teach the course. Courses are offered as four sessions which each last about 3 hours. This is a free class and requires a commitment to attend all sessions. 

Registration

Session sizes are limited to 20 participants. If you are confirmed to participate and need to cancel, we ask that you PLEASE cancel at least 2 weeks ahead of your session date so that we can fill the vacancy. Registration periods will close when the spots have been filled.

PLEASE NOTE: All four class sessions must be attended.
