Edwin Herrera, 21, of Berryville, Va. died as the result of a crash on Tuesday evening.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, the Winchester Police Department (WPD) and Winchester Fire and Rescue Department (WFRD) responded to the report of a traffic crash at Adams Dr. and Pleasant Valley Rd. Upon arrival, WPD and WFRD personnel began lifesaving measures, but Herrera was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash resulted in the death of Herrara. The Virginia State Police assisted with the investigation by reconstructing the crash scene. The safety and well-being of our community remain a top priority for WPD, and drivers are urged to exercise caution on the road.
