Winchester Police Investigate Fatal Vehicle Accident

A Winchester, Virginia man has died as the result of a vehicle accident earlier today in the area of West Cork Street and South Stewart Street.
At approximately 12:26 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024, the Winchester Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle accident involving a 78 year old male of Winchester, VA. A singular vehicle reportedly struck the male in a private parking lot near W Cork Street and Stewart St. The male was transported and ultimately pronounced dead at the Winchester Medical Center.
