Peyton Street Gunfire Incident Leads to Arrest

On June 20, 2024, at approximately 2:42am, officers responded to shots fired in the area of Peyton and Braddock. Officers noticed damage to the west exterior side of the home caused by bullets but none of the residents were injured.

Detectives spoke to the residents, and after a thorough investigation, the Winchester Criminal Investigation Division obtained warrants for and arrested Jason Fletcher and two juveniles.

Fletcher was charged with shooting into an occupied building and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is being held at the Northwest Regional Adult Detention Center on a $5000 secured bond.  Detention orders were issued for the two juveniles, for shooting into a dwelling and conspiracy. All suspects in this case have been charged and arrested.
