On December 9, 2024, at approximately 4:37pm, officers responded to the area of Weems Lane for a report of a bomb threat. WPD officers addressed the situation quickly and obtained a charge for the individual, later identified as Pedro Rosario.
Officers found Rosario in the Walmart parking lot and took him into custody. He was charged with threats to bomb or damage buildings or means of transportation (VA code 18.2-83).
